The REP! Summer Theater Camp 2026 (at Arts Society of Kingston in Kingston, NY.) Welcome to The REP! We are an independent youth theater company committed to the excellence of theater craft and production in an educational performance setting. We are looking for young creatives ages 13-17 to become our founding Ensemble of performers, producers and musicians. In an intensely fun month, the Rep Ensemble will learn production structure, theatre performance, musicianship and more. The camp will culminate in a weekend of live shows. Every Ensemble member will be included in the production and tech responsibility which will be incorporated into our day of learning and practice. Sample Day Weeks 1-3: 9am-9:30am Arrival 9:30am-11:30am Rehearsal/class/table work/band work 11:30am to 12:30:pm Lunch 12:30pm- 2:50pm Staging/blocking 3:00pm Dismissal The mornings will be focused on acting, movement, musicianship, management, production and design. The afternoons will be dedicated to the rehearsal, blocking and development of the production, with ensemble members taking on multiple roles as cast, management, crew and musicians. The final week of camp is “Tech Week,” where all of the elements come together. The Ensemble will be asked to participate in two extended days: Thursday, July 23rd and Friday July 24th for technical and dress rehearsals. Finally, the Ensemble will present the first REP production in 4 performances, Friday July 24-Sunday July 26. We cannot wait to welcome you as a member of The REP! Ensemble. - Cost for the camp is $1680. - A deposit of $840 is required to secure your spot. Once you have signed up, you will receive an invoice. - The remaining $840 is due on or before June 1, 2026. - Payments are refundable up to June 1, 2026 less a $125 processing fee per child. **The show we will be doing will be announced soon!**
