Why The Rep? Why Now?

Theater is a vital force that brings us together and helps us navigate our lives. In today's fast-paced world, the shared experience of theater is more crucial than ever.

Theater deepens our understanding of our emotions and of society. It fosters our creativity, encourages problem-solving, and enriches our cultural conversations by asking us to engage with ideas from inside the story itself.

Theater requires us to gather and collectively witness a narrative unfold. This physical act of coming together strengthens our community and builds bridges  through collective storytelling.

Theatre asks us to step into the shoes of characters. This teaches empathy. This exposure to varied viewpoints challenges our assumptions and improves our ability to communicate with one another.

Theater prompts us to question things, think critically, and develop essential life skills. Theatre teaches us compromise and collaboration. By encouraging thoughtful, open-minded engagement, theater makes us better individuals and creates stronger communities.

As former theatre kids, now professional theatre adults, we cannot wait to share with the next generation of theatre makers our wisdom, our collaboration, our humanity and our encouragement.

XOXO,

Seth, Dani and Mike
